This tool addresses the problem of re-usability of student interactions in WebCT Discussions, and allows an instructor or a student to export a fully threaded discussion object from WebCT for re-use in course content, analysis/research, e-portfolios, record-keeping, etc. |
FEATURES:
- RSS feeds for each thread
- export of SCORM 1.2 compliant Learning Objects
- remove author identities
- fully threaded discussion archive
EXAMPLES OF USE:
- Completed class discussions can be saved and archived for future reference
- Students can export their contributions and save them in threaded format.
- Threads can be re-used and embedded in course content (i.e. "last year's students had the following discussion...")
- RSS feeds from discussions can be imported into Weblogs, news aggregators, etc.
